About The Position

Tresco, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Lead Custodian to support custodial operations at the Federal Courthouse. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments while mentoring others to deliver their best work.

As the Lead Custodian, you’ll serve as a hands-on leader—guiding your team, ensuring high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of a respected federal facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) months in janitorial or custodial services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Federal Security Clearance.
• Includes FBI, OPM/FIS, OIG, and MVR checks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and assist custodial staff in daily cleaning duties and skill development.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas including floors, restrooms, glass surfaces, and office spaces.
• Ensure all work meets federal standards for appearance, safety, and hygiene.
• Communicate staffing needs, concerns, or maintenance issues with the Site Supervisor.
• Perform special cleaning projects and respond to requests as assigned.
• Promote Tresco’s mission and values through professionalism and teamwork.
