About The Position

Within the organizational structure of radiology, performs CT scan procedures to assist in direct patient care. Primary function is to perform procedures, coordinate workflow and serve as primary resource for daily operations. Acts as mentor to new, less experienced technologists. Assists with scheduling call and routine coverages. Is liaison between radiologists, management and staff for daily exam protocol issues. Responsible for periodic QA performance and reporting. Organize and oversee reaccreditation packets. Maintains competency checks for team. Assists leadership with ongoing medical supplies utilization. Covers supervisory obligations as needed. ACH, ACRH, and SLS new hire/transfer will have 60 days from start to obtain a Kansas LRT License by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts. In Convenient Care/Imaging Center setting, may also assist other modalities and perform other duties as assigned. In Community Hospital setting: Full-time Days Trained in CT and Radiology. Trained in EKG procedures, phlebotomy, waived testing, and establishing IV access. May assist in patient care food preparation. Assist with patient care as directed/supervised by the registered nurse on duty. #LI-MS3

Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: 1 year
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Computed Tomography (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • Radiography (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • ACH, ACRH, and SLS new hire/transfer will have 60 days from start to obtain a Kansas LRT License by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
  • Full-time Days Trained in CT and Radiology (in Community Hospital setting).
  • Trained in EKG procedures, phlebotomy, waived testing, and establishing IV access (in Community Hospital setting).
