This is a full-time, 36 hours per week, benefit eligible position Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at Bridgton Hospital! The Lead CT Technologist monitors the daily activities of the CT section of Imaging. Performs radiographic and CT studies. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients for this service, usually adult to elderly. Completes specific and annual competencies as it applies to CT and participates in CQI activities. Education and Experience: High school graduate; BS or MS degree preferred. Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography. Certified in CT through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Certified in the State of Maine to practice and administer radiation. Five-year radiology experience preferred. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within one month of expiration. Thorough understanding of anatomy, positioning.
