To learn more visit Welcome to Wellington Regional Medical Center | Wellington, FL Job Requirements: Under the direct supervision of Department Manager and Imaging Director, the CAT Scan Lead will assume responsibility and accountability for the CAT Scan department. He/she will serve as a unit lead technologist by assisting other CAT Scan technologists, ensuring quality, and resolving situations as they arise. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to ACR re-accreditations, facilitate workflows by creating employee schedules, time keeping in Kronos, ordering of supplies, staff training, Joint Commission tracers, radiation badges, ensuring PACS and imaging quality assurance and CDOS quarterly meetings. The lead will report any issues with radiology equipment to Imaging Manager. Will be responsible for employee competencies (initial and annual) and employee certifications and renewals and yearly evaluations. The lead technologist will also provide radiographic imaging to patients of all age groups. The lead technologist utilizes equipment and technique to assist in diagnosis or treatment including but not limited to general radiographic procedures and mobile radiographs. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. He/she must be available for “on-call” duties. He/she must be capable of and willing to cross-train and float into other areas to meet the needs of the facility as well as capable and willing to assist in the cross-training and orientation of others into the department as requested. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training. Requirements

  • Current State of Florida license
  • Current ARRT registry in CAT Scan
  • AHA Healthcare provider BLS
  • Proficiency computer skills
  • English verbal and written fluency

Responsibilities
