About The Position

Position Summary Leads the daily operation of CT Imaging Services. Responsibilities Ensures image quality, excellence in patient care and uninterrupted work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy. Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting. Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the health care team as needed. Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations. Analyzes and an incorporate current clinical and business trends. Provides input into the budgetary process. Facilitates required departmental adjustment to ensure cost effective delivery of quality care and services. In collaboration with management, provides leadership and direction of the quality and flow of work activities for sections in CT (Computed Tomography). Assists in keeping department procedure protocols in CT up to date. Troubleshoots errors and performs quality assurance checks.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Experience: Two (2) years in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Licensure/Certifications: ARRT-R (American registry of Radiologic Technologist)
  • ARRT-CT, obtain CT certification within 2 years of hire/transfer date
  • MRTBE CTCT (AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American heart Association

  • Education: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
