About The Position

As a key hospitality team member, the Lead Cook plays a vital role in supervising kitchen staff in the Chef's absence while upholding food quality standards. This position emphasizes positive leadership through guidance and training for kitchen associates on proper preparation techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols. The Lead Cook is responsible for visually inspecting and selecting the freshest ingredients for menu items, following recipes accurately, and preparing supply requisitions. Why Join US? Responsibilities

  • Train kitchen staff in preparing menu items and following safety measures.
  • Assess the taste, smell, and appearance of food items before service to ensure quality.
  • Ensure guests receive their meals on time.
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food according to health regulations.
  • Keep menu specifications and recipes updated, and ensure equipment is clean and functional.
  • Prepare workstations before meal service for efficiency.
