About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and energetic individual with excellent culinary skills that will follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

Responsibilities

  • Food preparation : Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepare food items, including menu items, in accordance with recipes and production standards
  • Inventory : Regularly check inventory and order food with partner vendors to maintain proper stock levels and manage food costs, deliveries, and track production, consumption, and waste.
  • Food safety : Ensure that food is handled, presented, and stored in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines; checking quality of ingredients and expiration dates daily. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Equipment : Ensure that equipment is in good working order and is cleaned and maintained properly. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
  • Customer service : Interact with customers to resolve complaints and provide service
  • Menu planning : Assist with menu planning and development. Prepare, manage, and coordinate catering orders throughout the week.
  • Reporting: Input daily reports, time temp logs, refrigeration logs and waste Logs Regularly check online reviews and operations data to ensure the restaurant is operating at a high level
  • Proactively solve problems in the kitchen to maintain continuous operations
  • Demonstrate and uphold consistent mastery of company recipes, quality standards, and values to ensure the restaurant operates with excellence
  • Maintain regular lines of communication between the kitchen team, management, and the support team.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
