About The Position

Summary: Acts as primary interface in technical support with on-going problem jobs. Responsible for being primary interface dealing with engineering when problems must be passed on for resolution. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Answers and solve technical support calls on AAON controls. Responsible for being primary interface with controls support dealing with on-going problem jobs and passing problem jobs to engineering for assistance. Assists with both onsite and off-site training on AAON controls. Performs associated administrative duties associated with controls support position. Responsible for being primary tester in controls support for new code releases on various AAON controls. Helps educate controls support personnel with less knowledge on AAON controls. Works in conjunction with engineering on testing new releases of code and providing feedback to engineering on issues found. Review and proofread new documentation as it becomes available. Keeps immediate management in the loop on current problem jobs and/or testing boards and code with engineering. Tests failed boards that have been returned from AAON warranty. Education and Experience Requirements: Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or higher education; or two to four years related experience and/or training with one to three years of commercial HVAC experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates strong leadership abilities. Communicates effectively in written and spoken form. Exhibits good decision making and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills. Works with minimal supervision. Ability to follow directions. Works effectively in a team environment. Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment. Electronic/digital low voltage controls Multi-Meter Knowledge of electronics Microsoft Suite Internet software Contact management systems. Work Environment: Lift up to 10lbs. Required to sit, use hands, talk and hear 85% of work hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color. Some travel is expected for this position. Requirements
