TempToFT Lead Controls Engineer Rate: $120-150K Cincinnati, OH C-D Responsibilities: - Design and develop PLC programs for material handling equipment. - Comprehensive knowledge of equipment, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions. - Conducts and leads all phases of product development lifecycle including the analysis, design, electrical designs, installation support, electrical installation debugging and support of other complimentary engineering staff associated with the electrical hardware engineering. - Resolves site requirement changes, and support solutions to complete designed equipment installation. - Programs systems to support equipment operations from scratch. - Interfaces with internal engineering/project management and customers to determine system requirements. - Supports electrical installation via interfacing to electrical installers. - Tests, troubleshoots, and inspects electrical and electronic assemblies and systems. - Debugs electrical installation of controls and motor components. - Plans and assigns personnel for given projects or tasks. - Recommends changes in procedures. - Exclusively use Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs and Studio 5000 software. Requirements: - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred - 8+ years previous professional engineering experience - Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required-travel is 65-75% - High degree of proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office-Outlook) and internet applications - Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning - Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts - Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients - Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment - Ability to work with and influence peers and management - Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting If you possess the skills we are looking for and ready to make a positive impact, apply NOW!
