BASIC FUNCTION: Under the general direction of Community Schools program leadership, provide training and guidance to Community Schools - Site Program Coordinators and other assigned staff; independently perform highly complex and technical administrative and staff duties related to the coordination, and participation in collaborative leadership with assigned community school(s), administrators, and school teams in the establishment and development of the Community Schools program pillars and structures.

Requirements

  • A combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited institution in communications, social services, education, school counseling or a related field and six (6) years of recent, progressively responsible, related experience working with students and families in the TK-12 educational system or with organizations that serve school communities.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish required

Nice To Haves

  • One year in the Community Schools - Site Program Coordinator job classification or equivalent experience in the establishment of community partnerships to support the development of comprehensive school systems and structures is highly preferred.
