About The Position

Alchemy Insurance Solutions is a specialty insurance MGA platform focused on the construction and self storage industries. We operate within a broader insurance holding company that includes retail distribution, delegated underwriting authority, and risk-taking entities (carriers). We specialize in proprietary insurance programs built specifically for builders, contractors, developers, and self storage operators. Through affinity partnerships, embedded distribution, and national networks, we provide warm lead flow and differentiated market access. In addition to our in house programs, we maintain strong appointments with 3rd party markets, allowing us to place business when risks fall outside our proprietary underwriting appetite. The Lead Insurance Producer will drive revenue growth across Alchemy's self-storage portfolio. This individual will be responsible for originating new business, cultivating strategic relationships, and leading production strategy across affinity networks and direct distribution channels. While Alchemy provides warm leads through digital platforms and affinity partnerships, this role requires a proactive business developer. The producer will be expected to independently source and cultivate their own new business opportunities in addition to converting inbound opportunities. This role is designed for a high performing, entrepreneurial producer who understands specialty insurance and wants access to proprietary programs, embedded lead flow, and underwriting authority.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial insurance production experience with a preference for self-storage experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of revenue generation and client acquisition.
  • Strong market relationships/knowledge withino specialty lines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in a growth stage platform.
  • Active Property and Casualty license. This position will get licensed nationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with program business, MGAs, or delegated authority environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and close new commercial business within the self storage vertical.
  • Leverage proprietary programs to drive competitive differentiation.
  • Source and develop independent lead opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry relationships.
  • Convert warm inbound leads generated through affinity and embedded channels.
  • Develop and execute a production strategy aligned with vertical growth goals.
  • Meet or exceed annual production targets.
  • Serve as the lead producer voice within self storage.
  • Provide feedback to underwriting and product teams on market conditions and client needs.
  • Utilize internal underwriting authority where applicable and place risks with third party carriers when outside proprietary appetite.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM tracking, pipeline forecasting, and activity reporting.
