Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, ductwork, and installation
  • Proficient with refrigerant systems, gas systems, and electrical components
  • Solid understanding of low-voltage HVAC systems
  • High level of safety awareness and jobsite leadership
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make sound field decisions
  • Strong communication skills with team members and customers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Knowledge and application of all relevant codes and regulations
  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish
  • Direct and mentor install crew members on job sites
  • Install commercial heating and air conditioning systems
  • Install gas piping and refrigeration piping
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
  • Test, balance, and commission systems
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical, electrical, and safety codes
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress/issues
