About The Position

Lead Commercial HVAC Technician General Description: Feldkamp Enterprises, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. An ideal candidate will have experience with multiple types of units, mini splits, electrical, boilers, and chillers. This role requires a strong knowledge set of commercial HVAC/R and the ability to work independently to effectively troubleshoot in multiple types of settings. The lead technician will be responsible for training apprentices. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems including technical, electrical and mechanical issues Service equipment including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and split systems Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics Guide and mentor junior technicians and apprentices Checking in/out with Customers at each routine maintenance visit to update them on any findings or needed repairs; Learn locations of all HVAC equipment and how they relate to each building Perform routine maintenance contracts by replacing filters, belts and make necessary adjustments to pulleys and tensioners Complete work orders and submit job completion tickets through company software system in a timely manner. Diagnose and record maintenance logs and actions performed during a service call. Qualifications: 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience Experience with rooftop units, mini splits, electric, boilers, chillers of all brands Electric experience and control troubleshooting is a plus Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment KY journeyman preferred Welding or brazing experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pound Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and mechanical rooms Ability to work in varying weather conditions and confined spaces Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4pm (Rotating, on call weekends) Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday On call Overtime Weekends as needed Why Join the Feldkamp Enterprises? Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
  • Experience with rooftop units, mini splits, electric, boilers, chillers of all brands
  • Electric experience and control troubleshooting is a plus
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment
  • Ability to lift 50+ pound
  • Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and mechanical rooms
