About The Position

Lead Medical Assistant- Internal Medicine Location: Bloomingdale Clinic Hours: Monday-Wednesday and Friday 7:45am-5:00pm and Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm Full-Time Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required.
  • CPR Certification required
  • A minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience preferably in the medical field
  • Experienced in staff roles with a history of good performance

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description.
  • Takes inventory and performs ordering of supplies.
  • Assists with coordinating staff meetings.
  • Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members.
  • Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution.
  • Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training.
  • Monitors and ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures.
  • May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources.
  • Responsible for managing the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.
