About The Position

Medical Essential Diagnostics is a team of medical professionals committed to providing preventative healthcare testing and physicals to all NJ essential workers. Through our “Save My Life Program”, we provide comprehensive, cardiopulmonary physical exams via our five clinic locations within the state. This program was designed exclusively for first responders, township/county/state employees, educators, and their families. These everyday heroes who keep our communities running rely on us to keep them in the best shape possible! Through yearly testing, we are able to diagnose non-symptomatic health issues before they become serious. 🎉 And now, we’re opening a BRAND NEW clinic in Woodbridge, New Jersey! 🎉  We are hiring immediately for a part-time position (3 days per week to start) with the opportunity to transition to full-time (40 hours/week) within approximately 6 months into employment as the clinic grows. Schedules are made monthly, with any 3 days between Monday–Saturday, and we are closed on Sundays. We’re looking for motivated, compassionate team members who want to grow with us and help shape a new clinic from day one.

Requirements

  • Active CCMA certification through an accredited organization
  • Active BLS Certification
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated
  • Direct and effective communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
  • Adapt to daily environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong bedside manner

Responsibilities

  • Sterilize and prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and updating patient records.
  • Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients.
  • Trained to conduct various tests on patients (subject to training on updated protocols).
  • Adhere to rotation schedule instructed by manager
  • Follow equipment protocols and handle all equipment with caution
  • Required to learn and conduct any new exams added into the program
  • Collect laboratory specimens, log forms, and prepare specimens to be dispersed by the end of the day for pickup
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Trained to conduct administrative responsibilities upon rotation schedule
  • Greet patients, answer inquiries, and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies are stocked.
  • Adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Uses an EMR system for scheduling and other needed tasks, such as billing and uploading of conducted test results
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each patient.
  • Other duties as assigned
