About The Position

My Gym San Carlos is hiring a Full-Time Lead Children’s Fitness Instructor to deliver high-quality children’s fitness classes, gymnastics-based movement programs, and early childhood enrichment for children ages 3 months to 10 years. This full-time role is ideal for a dependable professional seeking stable hours, long-term growth, and leadership responsibility in a child-focused fitness environment. In this role, you will lead energetic parent-participation and independent classes that build coordination, strength, confidence, and social skills in a safe, structured, and engaging setting. You will work closely with families, mentor teammates, and help maintain consistent program quality across all classes. At My Gym, being a Lead Instructor goes beyond teaching classes. You will build strong relationships with families, support and mentor team members, and help deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for every child. You will gain valuable experience in leadership, operations, and program management while contributing to a fast-paced, rewarding environment. If you have an interest or background in sports, kinesiology, physical fitness, early childhood education, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, or youth development and enjoy working with children, this role is an excellent fit.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
Consistent availability across weekdays and weekends required
Ability to pass a background check
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active on your feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

Lead and assist engaging, age-appropriate children’s fitness and movement classes
Create a fun, positive, and welcoming environment for children and parents
Maintain safety standards and supervise all participants
Support children’s physical, social, and emotional development through play and movement
