As a Lead Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role within MGO, providing strategic support, driving operational excellence, and fostering a vibrant culture. This role reports to the Director-Chief of Staff and is critical in steering the organization towards its growth objectives. This position demands a dynamic blend of strategic planning, operational efficiency, and leadership acumen, with overt responsibilities for headcount forecasting and staffing management, budget forecasting and oversight, execution and budget management of awards and recognition programs, management of the MGO employee onboarding experience, and leadership of large-scale projects—including the 2026 MGO Conference—as well as ad hoc event and speaking engagement management. Candidates must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage pivot tables, use advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, organize and maintain headcount and budget files for clarity and accuracy, and automate recurring processes for greater team efficiency. Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record in project management are essential for success in this role.
