Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a talented scientist with expertise in process water and effluent treatment and recycling in semiconductor fabs, automation, and control, to join the Global Micro-E RD&E team located in Naperville, IL as a Lead Chemical Engineer. This role will drive the development of innovative technologies on water treatment, effluent recycling, and process water for Microelectronics, communicate regularly with the customers, field reps, marketing, and business leaders and ensure a robust pipeline for new products and platforms that help our customers solve complex problems related to processes and water circularity. What you will do: Manage and drive projects that deliver unique chemistry and equipment solutions related to process water and effluent recycling for our Microelectronics customers. Lead projects from ideation and prospecting through final validation and commercialization in collaboration with functions across the organization, including marketing, sales and supply chain. Develop a technological roadmap for water, wastewater, and automation for Microelectronics customers Engage with customers, sales engineers, and marketing functions to translate industry challenges into research platforms Provide Advanced Technical Support for Microelectronics customers. Develop innovative chemistries, automation, and digital tools for the Microelectronics Industry, with special emphasis on process water and wastewater treatment. Collaborate with other researchers and field technical consultants to deploy new innovations in field applications
