About The Position

The Lead Cashier at Ulta Beauty is responsible for ensuring efficient guest transactions and maintaining high standards at the cashwrap area. This role involves training new cashiers, driving loyalty results, and enhancing the guest experience through exceptional service and product recommendations. The Lead Cashier supports the leadership team with various operational tasks and is a key player in achieving store goals related to sales and customer loyalty.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience in addressing guest concerns and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.
• Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashwrap displays and supplies.
• Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates.
• Support leadership with cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections.
• Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Drive accountability in delivering a personalized Ulta Beauty brand experience.
