About The Position

The Lead Cashier plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient checkout operations within the service environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a dealership customer service role.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a service department environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software.
• Customer service certification or related training.
• Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cashier team to ensure efficient and accurate checkout processes.
• Train new cashiers on point-of-sale systems, customer service protocols, and cash handling procedures.
• Monitor cash drawers and reconcile cash receipts at the beginning and end of shifts to maintain financial accuracy.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with store management to implement operational improvements and maintain compliance with company policies.
