About The Position

The Lead Cashier at Ulta Beauty is responsible for ensuring efficient guest transactions and maintaining high standards at the cashwrap area. Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience in addressing guest concerns and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.
• Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of beauty products and trends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of cashwrap displays and supplies.
• Support the leadership team with cashier chat ins and outs, and associate exit inspections.
• Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates.
• Drive accountability in delivering a personalized Ulta Beauty brand experience.
• Participate in ongoing training for professional development.
