About The Position
A Lead Cashier assists leadership staff with store operation by performing assigned advanced tasks and provides leadership to assigned team members. This position contributes to the leadership environment through supervision of register efficiency, ability to delegate responsibility, time management skills, strong knowledge of merchandise, implementation of policies and procedures and a thorough understanding of the elements that drive retail operations profitability. Our Lead Cashier should possess a strong work ethic and ability to handle non-stop and sometimes intense workload; exhibit exceptional customer service skills with ability to balance guest concerns and team member questions in a fast pace environment, with a calm demeanor.
