What You'll Do Work on residential or commercial reconstruction projects throughout Hampton Roads to bring the property back to ‘pre-loss condition’ Complete carpentry tasks in accordance with a comprehensive scope of work, including but not limited to: Demolition and framing; hang and case doors and windows; install cabinets Install LVP flooring, ceramic tile, trim, baseboard and crown molding Detach and reset cabinets and appliances to include washers, dryers, microwaves, dishwashers and ranges Light plumbing and electrical work Paint and patch drywall Install hardware and perform punch list work as necessary to complete a project Conduct detailed material take offs and purchase lumber, hardware, lighting, etc. Uphold company standards and ensure high-quality restoration work Use a mobile app to document work with photos and notes on every job Communicate clearly with customers and team members throughout the project Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when using power tools and throughout restoration activities What You Should Expect Fast-paced work, often in emergency situations Deep job satisfaction when a customer says: “Thank you for saving my home.” Working on a variety of projects every week – no day is the same Being on-call in rotation — storms and leaks don’t clock out at 5 PM Being part of a crew that has your back, no matter how tough the job
