About The Position

Overview: Job Description Summary: Leads the analysis of the hospital’s current information systems and manages the design, development, implementation and support of areas of improvement. Job Description: Essential Functions: Consults with IS Management to evaluate and make recommendations for improvements. Proactively monitors and analyzes system performance to detect and resolve production system issues, and performing stringent system testing before implementing new solutions or system changes. Maintains systems to keep information and resources secure and safe from known vulnerabilities to include updating applications and systems with security patches and code updates, applying appropriate virus protection, and testing changes before placing into production environments. Ensures compliance with security and regulatory standards to assure data integrity and system survivability by developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans. Leads teams on large, complex projects involving cross-functional departments, high impact to customers, and large budgets. Provides leadership when working with other IS staff in functional or cross-functional teams to meet goals, objectives, and responsibilities. The moment you walk through our doors, you feel it. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience, required
  • Effective understanding and ability surrounding communication concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships, mentorships, and external connections.
  • Ability to understand, adapt, respond, and proactively seek changes and innovation.
  • Ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and techniques for planning, estimating, resourcing and scheduling IT projects.
  • Ability to design, implement, diagnose, maintain, develop, and provide solutions.
  • Seven years of experience in IT, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of healthcare IT experience, preferred.
  • Supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Project management experience, preferred.
