About The Position

Lead Bird Mover

Full Time - Hourly

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The
base hiring pay for this role is $21.80 per hour.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid class D driver's license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• No more than 1 moving violation in last 12 months, or no more than 2 moving violations in last 36 months.
• No DWI offenses in last 12 months, or no more than 1 DWI offense in last 36 months
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to follow bio security guidelines.
• Ability to work a varied schedule (to include evenings and weekends).
• Successful candidate must be detail oriented, have well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor by training, developing & instructing group of employees who load birds (bird crew)
• Assist with all implementation and enforcement of all company and departmental rules, policies, and programs.
• Perform all tasks efficiently while attaining standard, or better, results.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
