We’re looking for a dedicated Lead Behavior Technician III to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs in our short-term Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA. Your Role in Our Mission Your compassionate efforts will have a profound impact on the well-being of the individuals you assist! As the Lead Behavioral Technician III (BTIII), you will assume a leadership role on the floor and handling administrative duties for the Crisis Therapeutic Home. You will provide oversight of BT I and BT IIs in addition to direct support to the Home Supervisor. Your responsibilities on the floor will involve offering support to individuals with co-occurring intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental or behavioral health needs, who have been admitted to the Crisis Therapeutic Home. This role includes facilitating daily programs and individualized activities and support for habilitative and/or rehabilitative activities, therapeutic interventions, personal care/assistance, health care, and other activities. This position participates as part of comprehensive REACH services that collaborate with guest’s primary provider and clinical home, community crisis services, family, and others. You’ll also help orient staff to the home as well as maintain required notes and documentation. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in any Human Services field
  • Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (QMHP-T or QMHP)
  • Valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with crisis prevention and intervention services preferred.
