About The Position

Roth’s Sea & Steak is seeking a passionate and service-driven Lead Bartender to help deliver unforgettable guest experiences at one of Colorado’s premier new dining destinations. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a high-end cocktail environment with multiple tiers of leadership experience including training staff, fine dining experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and modern drink trends. Ability to create custom cocktails tailored to guests' preferences.
  • Familiarity with premium wine selections, high-end spirits, and luxury garnishes.
  • Excellent guest interaction, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A high level of personal grooming, poise, and professionalism
  • A commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning
  • Proficient in using modern POS systems and digital ordering tools.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be available to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs

  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to tolerate and work in various kitchen environments, including: High temperatures and humidity near cooking equipment (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers) Cold conditions in walk-in coolers and freezers Noisy, fast-paced environments with frequent interruptions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in private dining or events is a plus
  • WSET or CSS certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Bar Leadership & Team Development Lead, train, and inspire a professional bar team. Set clear service standards and create a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continued learning behind the bar.
  • Beverage Program Oversight Maintain and evolve a refined cocktail and spirits program in collaboration with the GM and Bar Manager. Ensure consistency, creativity, and quality in every pour.
  • Guest-Focused Service Create memorable bar experiences through high-touch, engaging hospitality. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Inventory & Cost Management Oversee inventory control, ordering, and cost tracking. Maintain accurate par levels and partner with vendors to ensure top-tier product availability.
  • Training & Education Train staff on cocktails, spirits, and responsible service. Stay current with trends and foster curiosity and knowledge within your team.
  • Bar Operations & Cleanliness Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and maintenance meet the highest standards during all shifts. Lead by example in speed, precision, and poise.
  • Event & Private Dining Support Coordinate with the events and culinary teams to craft beverage experiences for private dining and special occasions.
  • Compliance & Safety Enforce safe alcohol service and adhere to health, safety, and licensing standards.
