Responsibilities Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way Craft one-of-kind and cocktails and assist with seasonal menus Implement new, sustainable ingredients and new techniques Beverage training development and batching Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Have full knowledge of hotel bar program Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. Requirements

  • Previous service experience an asset
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Minimum 4–5 years of high-volume, craft cocktail bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Advanced knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, flavor balancing, and seasonal menu development
  • Proficient in house-made ingredients, including syrups, shrubs, infusions, and tinctures
  • Skilled in clarification techniques (e.g., milk clarification, agar clarification, centrifuge methods) to produce refined, consistent cocktails
  • Strong understanding of spirits, wine, and beer, with the ability to educate staff and guests
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, and beverage cost control
  • Ability to create and maintain pars, prep lists, and standardized recipes for consistency and efficiency
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and develop bartenders and barbacks
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards behind the bar
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent guest engagement and hospitality mindset, with a focus on elevated service standards
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
