Main Duties & Responsibilities Primary Job Role Under the directions of the Leadperson, assists with supervision of shop personnel and job progress daily and reports job status and department issues. Communicates daily work schedule received from the direction of the leadperson of the department with shop personnel. Inspects work in progress and finished products for compliance with build instructions and drawings. Participates and ensures employees are performing preventative maintenance of all machines including but not limited to overhead cranes in department. Ensures employees adhere to company policies, procedures and work processes. Monitors and enforces safety awareness and compliance. Trains new personnel within the department on safety, company policies, procedures, and job expectations. Assists employees of department with day-to-day job duties and responsibility as needed.
