The Lead Aquatic Maintenance position is a seasonal position, working May through August. Hours are up to 35 per week, evenings, mornings and weekends. Job Purpose: The Lead Aquatic Maintenance position is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining facilities, pools, and mechanical areas at two outdoor pool facilities, Rehm and Ridgeland Common. Additionally, this position is responsible for power washing pool decks, performing filter maintenance and testing pool water and operating chemical control units to ensure standards are met and facilities are clean, safe, and attractive for all users of the Park District. This position is expected to provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating and enforcing Park District rules, regulations, and policies to pool patrons. The Lead Aquatic Maintenance position is responsible for performing the essential functions as outlined in this description.
