About The Position

The Lead Ambassador for Tehaleh will actively support community values and visions and philosophies, while demonstrating a style of support and organization that allows residents needs to be met with high level of satisfaction. The Lead Ambassador will provide a warm, welcoming, professional approach while utilizing their experience, skills, and exceptional communication abilities with all Tehaleh stakeholders. The Lead Ambassador will monitor use of private resident facilities, adjacent grounds and Tehaleh activities during specified times. Lead Ambassadors set the tone for customer service, hospitality and stakeholder interactions and model the qualities of neighborliness and inclusion. As an integral member of the Tehaleh Community Life team, Lead Ambassadors will contribute to the success of events, programs and other resident engagement experiences, all of which are designed to recreate a sense of community and lifestyle that sets Tehaleh apart from any other place to live. Lead Ambassadors should expect to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays. Lead Ambassadors will be provided with a schedule at the beginning of each month for the current month, as well as scheduled on an as-needed basis, without any minimum guaranteed hours per week. Lead Ambassadors are expected to be available regularly on this flexible schedule, to meet the needs of the community for use of its amenities, and planning & execution of events.

  • Associates degree and/or working toward college degree.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • At least one year working in a professional office environment.
  • Must be comfortable with a wide range of desktop technology including Microsoft Office Suite
  • The Lead Ambassador must provide their own transportation for off-site programs, picking up necessary supplies, etc.; must have a current drivers’ license and an acceptable driving record.
  • The Lead Ambassador must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and be on foot for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with database management, WordPress, HTML and other platforms highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist as directed by the Tehaleh Engagement Team and (or) Manager(s) in the development and implementation of events, community programs and other activities that support our commitment to innovative community-building initiatives.
  • Staff Tehaleh’s amenities on an as-needed basis for the purpose of facilitating and supervising private events as they occur.
  • Use fun, creativity and genuine enthusiasm to build relationships with residents; endeavor to understand personal and collective interests.
  • Assist with oversight of amenities as needed; ensure optimal appearance, functionality and operation of Tehaleh’s interior spaces and carry out necessary tasks needed to repair, replace or otherwise improve amenity operation.
  • Assist in monitoring Tehaleh’s exterior spaces, including facility grounds and adjacent areas, and collaborate with Manager(s) to remedy outstanding issues.
  • Ensure that all equipment, games and related items are in good repair and operating order; report to Manager(s) when there is a need to replace and/or repair as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to Community Life Team members on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist with execution of events and activities as requested, including day-prior and day-of tasks; days may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and end as late as midnight.
  • Assist with staffing/coverage of the Discovery Park Community Center and other functions as needed.
  • Maintain organization of supplies and equipment in storage for easy identification and access as needed.
