LEAD ADMISSIONS REP/REGISTRAR - VALLEY HOSPITAL (NIGHTS)
About The Position
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center , Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital. and our newest location West Henderson Hospital. Job Description: Responsible for providing support to department and incoming patients of his/her representative and records information required for admission. HIPPA guidelines. Plays a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery. This position requires individuals who are detail oriented, adaptable and equipped with the necessary experience and skills to handle the demands of the dynamic healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
- Experience:Two years OF experience in a hospital admitting office or physician office preferred.
- Technical Skill: Computer proficiency includes word processing and patient accounting system.
- Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide serviceappropriate to the age of the patient.
- Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
