Requirements

  • AA in Medical technology or bachelor’s, or higher, degree in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences from an accredited institution
  • 1–3+ years of hands-on LCMS experience (clinical, toxicology, or analytical lab preferred)
  • Experience with sample prep, calibration, QC, and instrument troubleshooting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in clinical toxicology or pain management testing
  • Familiarity with method development and validation
  • Knowledge of CLIA/CAP requirements and proficiency testing
  • Experience using LIMS and data management systems

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain LC-MS/MS instrumentation (e.g., Agilent platforms)
  • Perform specimen extraction and sample preparation (urine, oral fluid, serum, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance
  • Review, analyze, and validate toxicology results with exceptional attention to detail
  • Complete documentation for workflows, QC/QA, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and laboratory quality standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to support continuous improvement of testing processes
