About The Position

Ready to add more meaning to your career? HOPE is a residential/outpatient chemical dependency treatment facility for justice-involved clients re-entering into the community. Located in Henderson, Texas the HOPE facility complies with HSSC Residential standards and provides a safe and secure environment for staff and client while utilizing employing state of the art treatment methods. Position Summary: Reports to the School Director. Responsible for completing course work towards obtaining Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Intern status.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in the field of psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, or education is preferred; related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Attend online training for a maximum of 286 hours. The full training course must be completed within 36 business days.
  • Participate in training up to, but not more than, eight hours per day.
  • Participate in regular check-ins with Manager, CTI.
  • It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
