About The Position
Impact lives with Management & Training Corporation (MTC)! Begin your career in counseling as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Trainee with the East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, Texas. Join our program for a unique opportunity to get paid while you study to become an LCDC intern. What you’ll do: You’ll be responsible for completing course work towards obtaining Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Intern status .
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in the field of psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, or education is preferred; related experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Attend online training for a maximum of 286 hours.
- The full training course must be completed within 36 business days.
- Participate in training up to, but not more than, eight hours per day.
- Participate in regular check-ins with Manager, CTI.
