About The Position

Gateway Learning Center is looking for a part-time Teacher's Assistant. Our Christian daycare facility at Gateway Fellowship has served the Poulsbo community for over 50 years.

Requirements

• Must pass a state and federal background check and fingerprinting.
• Must be able to obtain Washington State Food Handler’s Permit.
• Must be able to obtain a First Aide/CPR certificate.
• Must love working with children.
• Must love playing, messes and snack time.
• Must be able to walk, run, lift, and possibly hula-hoop.
• Must be available 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, loving, and welcoming environment that continually engages children
• Being a cooperative team member, working alongside and taking direction from your lead teacher
• Actively participating in all activities with the children, including snacks, lunches, and play
