Layout Technician
About The Position

The Layout Technician is responsible for reading blueprints and marking the correct placement of clips on metal components along the conrac line. This role ensures accuracy in layout to support downstream production processes and requires a high level of attention to detail while keeping pace with a fast-moving production line.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to determine clip placement.
- Mark clip locations on metal components using chalk according to specifications.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all layout markings.
- Keep up with the speed of the conrac line to prevent production delays.
- Identify and communicate any discrepancies in drawings or materials to supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
- Meet or exceed daily production targets.
