Job Description Summary Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all entry level layout activities, including, but not limited to, first article, tool inspections, gage correlations, CMM support, tool correlations, and customer print verification; maintain layout equipment and certifications. Responsible to the department supervisor for the completion of all assigned tasks in a prompt and efficient manner. Work with other associates, as needed, to complete work assignments. Ensure clear, concise, accurate records are kept for compliance with JTI's quality system. Knowledgeable regarding other department functions relevant to optimizing performance and understanding layout responsibilities. Interfacing with all facets of engineering and manufacturing. Ensure proper communications is maintained regarding layout responsibilities to complete an assigned task with the customer. Support CMM equipment and software, as well as optical comparators. Maintain department equipment and support efforts for continuous improvement and EHS.
