Horizon Systems is seeking a dependable and motivated Layout Associate to support the fabrication of high-quality equipment. The Role: Supporting Fabrication with Accuracy and Efficiency As a Layout Associate, you will assist in the layout and preparation of components for fabrication, ensuring that all parts meet company-defined quality standards. You’ll work closely with other departments to support production schedules and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Your primary responsibilities include: Complete layout stages of builds as required (excluding brake press or rolls) Ensure quality documentation is processed per company procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery and product quality Accurately clock in and out of work orders Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment Assist in correcting mistakes and minimizing rework Core Competencies Success in this role requires a blend of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and communication skills. We’re looking for a professional who demonstrates: Proficiency in basic math Effective written and verbal communication High attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.)
