The Lawyer Talent Development Manager at Hunton Andrews Kurth plays a strategic, hands-on role in shaping the careers of our non-partner lawyers and supporting the firm’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and client service. This position serves as a trusted advisor and resource for lawyers on one or more of the firm’s business practice teams (Litigation, Corporate, Capital Finance & Real Estate, Administrative Law, Tax & ERISA, Labor & Employment, and Energy & Infrastructure), focusing on all stages of their careers and overseeing the full cycle of talent development—including onboarding, integration, performance management, performance feedback, training, mentoring, sponsorship, career advancement and career transitions. This highly collaborative position will partner with key firm and team/practice leaders to design, implement, and refine programs that foster professional growth, enhance team performance, and ensure alignment with our strategic business objectives. The Lawyer Talent Development Manager advocates for best practices and helps drive a collaborative culture of continuous learning and accountability. The Lawyer Talent Development Manager will be a member of our Lawyer Recruiting & Development Team and will report to the Chief Lawyer Recruiting & Development Partner.
