About The Position

A member of the McCarthy-Bush family of companies, Clinton Engineering (CEC) is a full-service general contractor and recognized leader in construction for the Clinton Community and surrounding areas since 1926. Specializing in design-build, new construction, rehabilitation and renovation of commercial, industrial and municipal projects, CEC boasts a local, experienced workforce who self-perform in variety of trades from carpentry work to concrete paving, steel fabrication & erection, to excavation and more. CEC is currently seeking a Seasonal Lawncare/Groundskeeper based at the LyondellBasell Facility in Clinton, Iowa. This role involves tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming edges, ensuring clean-up of debris, and adhering to our standards of lawn maintenance at a large, industrial facility. Please note that this position is seasonal and is expected to continue through late fall, dependent on weather and growing conditions. What makes you successful in this position? Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred. Familiarity with operating lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Physical stamina and ability to lift maintenance equipment and work outdoors for extended periods. Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours and deadlines. This position is based in Clinton, IA and will require some travel between the Lincoln Way Office and LyondellBasell. The pay range for this position start at $20 depending on previous lawn experience. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check. This position works Monday to Thursday (4 days per week) from 6:30am to 2:00pm each day, with the potential for Friday work during busy season dependent up on project demands and schedules.
