The Role of a Lawn Care Technician: Provide professional lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, lime, weed, insect, disease, grub, mole & mosquito control, aeration, and seeding. Perform lawn analyses, including measuring the turf, identifying lawn problems, and identifying accurate pricing for services. Communicate with customers as the front-line contact between homeowners and your Weed Man office. Properly and safely maintain equipment. Safely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply chemical products. Complete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the position. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with 3+ years clean driving record
Have a clean criminal record
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Able to work 8-10 hours per day (including some Saturdays during peak season)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day)
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Adhere to company policies which can be found in the employee handbook (i.e., drug, alcohol, tobacco, cell phone, attendance, etc.)
Self-motivated and will initiate action when needed
Requires minimum supervision, but knows when to ask for assistance
Accepts feedback from fellow team members
