Lawn Care Technician - Start full time work in February!
About The Position
Location: Dayton, OH Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:45 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility during higher volume season Join a Team That’s Growing! In this role, you’ll deliver professional lawn fertilization, weed control and exterior pest services while serving as a trusted, friendly face to our residential customers. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Team player who collaborates well with others while also working independently
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk approximately 8–12 miles per day
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, and light rain)
- Saturday availability may be required based on weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Provide lawn fertilization, weed control and exterior pest treatments to residential properties
- Drive company vehicles on local routes and safely operate application equipment
- Perform property evaluations and make service recommendations based on lawn conditions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers at each visit
- Document service details, property conditions and customer notes using mobile devices
- Identify opportunities for additional services, earning commission on produced work
- Collaborate with Lawn Care Specialists, Sales Specialists and Customer Experience team members
