As a Law Enforcement Instructor, you’ll be able to utilize your passion and knowledge for law enforcement, to provide quality criminal justice training, through both in-person and virtual training methods, that will enhance the ability of the state's law enforcement personnel. Which will reduce crime and its cost to society and create a safe, secure environment for Kentucky. The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) located in Richmond has an opening for a Law Enforcement Training Instructor III for the Resiliency (LEPDW Program) Section. The law enforcement professional will provide instruction on mental health, coping strategies, and building resiliency to police officers and telecommunicators. The law enforcement professional will also assist in the Kentucky Post- Critical Incident Seminar (KYPCIS) seminar and provide mental health support and resources to agencies throughout the Commonwealth to assist police officers and telecommunicators after a critical incident. Significant portions of these topic areas involve classroom, skills training, practical scenario training, and virtual training options.
