Which will reduce crime and its cost to society and create a safe, secure environment for Kentucky. The Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) located in Richmond, Kentucky has an opening for a Law Enforcement Instructor in the Coordination Section. An Instructor in the Coordination Section is assigned Basic Training Classes to guide them through the academy. A class coordinator is a role model and a major influence on a recruit’s success while in Basic Training. A class coordinator is responsible for but not limited to the following duties: tracking and monitoring recruit progress, establishing class leadership, maintaining a standard of expected behavior for the class, liaison for that recruit to their employing agency. In addition, a coordinator provides training in diverse areas in Basic and In-Service Training involving general law enforcement topic areas.
