The Laundry/Uniform Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing company uniforms for Materion employees. Additionally, this position will perform janitorial services for certain designated areas. This role is based at our facility in Tucson, AZ 2nd shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Requirements

• High school education or GED
• Minimum 1 year in a similar service role
• Experience with effective laundry or cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with SAP work notification entry and Ariba purchasing

Responsibilities

• Obtain, launder, dry, fold, and distribute employee uniforms
• Operate washers and dryers in accordance with safety standards
• Make minor repairs to clothing items
• Maintain required inventory levels of uniforms and communicate with vendors
• Maintain coffee and coffee supplies inventory levels and requisition supplies as needed
• Clean change room, break room, locker room, bathrooms, respirator room, adjoining hallway, and metalizing restroom areas (bleach, pressure washing, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.)
• Order supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
