This position will be responsible for serving as a teacher and inspector to the laundry aids, truck drivers and linen runners. Additional responsibilities include providing an orientation of all new employees to include laundry equipment and machinery and safety procedures, assisting the assistant manager with 90 Day Reviews, building and truck inspections, preparation of work assignments, retraining and training of all laundry aids, truck drivers and linen runners in the preparation washing, drying, folding and linen distribution to achieve and exceed standards. This individual will assist the assistant manager with special projects as required.

Requirements

Must be willing to train personnel in their daily duties.
Must be teachable as well as a teacher.
Must be flexible and adaptable.
Must be at least 18 with a valid state DL
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have one to two years' laundry and/or housekeeping experience.
Valid State Driver License.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Mentoring, retraining, and developing employees to achieve and exceed standards, quality/quantity.
Inspections of Linen/Laundry and units buildings.
Assist in monthly linen inventory.
Assist in scheduling, preparation of daily work assignments and 90days reviews.
