About The Position

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our laundry team! Support the laundry leadership team to direct and coordinate all aspects of laundry operations at a large-scale laundry facility. Lead a goal-oriented team to create a work environment that is effective, productive, and rewarding.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• To comply with CMS mandates, all HHS employees working in healthcare must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption (medical or religious) upon start of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience (laundry, linen utilization, cleaning, custodian, janitorial, environmental services, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Supervise the laundry team to ensure efficiency and quality of linen processing
• Assign team members to specific areas and perform daily inspections
• Assist with team member training and onboarding
• Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment to the team
• Prepare payroll and manage hours as directed
• Follow all HHS linen procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
