Laundry Sorter - On Call

Responsible for dumping, picking, separating, and sorting soiled sheets, towels, pillow cases, bathmats and washcloths, table tops, napkins, aprons, bar mops, and housekeeping rags to appropriate bins/slings along designated sorting conveyor line.
Requirements
- Six (6) months of experience in a high volume laundry production environment preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of a normal shift.
- Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Dump, pick up, separate, and sort product on the belt in a consistent manner to help ensure smooth product flow and improved productivity.
- Discern type of article picked up and deposit in the appropriate bin/sling to complete the separating and sorting operation.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness and safety practices within the sortation area.
- Wear personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety training.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by Management.
