About The Position

As a Laundry Sorter, you play an essential role in maintaining smooth operations by organizing and sorting soiled linens by type and size with accuracy and care. You’ll ensure proper hamper placement, keep workflow efficient by replacing and staging bins as needed, and prepare linens for the next step in the cleaning process. Your attention to detail helps support a high standard of cleanliness and service.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred

Responsibilities

Deposit mixed soiled laundry onto conveyor belt
Separate soiled linen based on linen type and size
Place sorted linen into appropriate bin
Stage hampers in such a way as to accommodate correct sorting
Remove full hampers and replace with empty as necessary
Position full hampers correctly for washer loading
